A criminal case was initiated under Article 116 of the Criminal Code in connection with the death of blogger Farhad Mannopov.  Hayat Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the General Prosecutor’s Office, provided information about this.

According to him, the Chilonzor district prosecutor’s office conducted an investigation into the death of Farhad Mannopov.

“Due to the impossibility of reaching a legal conclusion without detailed questioning of the persons involved in the case, appointment of complex examinations that require a lot of time, and a number of other investigative actions, Article 116 of the Criminal Code (Professionally  a criminal case has been opened under clause “a” of Part 4), says the press secretary of the General Prosecutor’s Office.

It is noted that a legal decision will be made by conducting an investigation.

It should be recalled that yesterday, on 5 March, blogger Farhod Mannopov, known by the nickname “Mittivine” died at the age of 27 years old.  Blogger and winemaker Farhod Mannopov suffered injuries to his head and nose while swimming in the pool with his friends a few days ago.  For this reason, he went to one of the private clinics located in Chilonzor district of Tashkent for nose surgery.  On social networks, it is said that the cause of his death was a large amount of anesthesia given before the operation.  Blogger Otabek Jorayev also commented on this.  According to reports, Dr. Alijon Khisamov operated on his nose.  Mannopov did not come out of the coma for 36 hours.
