Chilonzor district prosecutor’s office continues to investigate the criminal case related to the death of 27-year-old blogger Farhod Mannopov, known by the nickname “Mittivine”, who died on 5 March this year.  Hayat Shamsutdinov, press secretary of the General Prosecutor’s Office, provided information about this.

It is noted that during the preliminary investigation, in 2013, another person died during surgery in this clinic.

However, during the investigation, this fact was not confirmed, and for this reason, the criminal case was reclassified from Article 116, Part 4, Clause “a” of the Criminal Code to Article 116, Part 3.

Also, the doctors of the clinic who performed the surgery, the anesthesiologist and acquaintances of the deceased, as well as a total of 15 persons were questioned as witnesses during the investigation.

At the same time, the conclusion of the inspection of the service assigned to the Ministry of Health regarding the criminal case was obtained and added to the documents of the criminal case.

Now, it is reported that the process of conducting complex expert examinations is underway within the framework of the criminal case.

“After carrying out all the necessary investigative actions, the case will be legally closed,” the prosecutor’s office said.

It should be recalled that according to the results of the inspection conducted by the Ministry of Health, it was found that the anesthesiologist, resuscitator, plastic surgeon, and laboratory technician who participated in Mannopov’s operation did not have qualifications and certificates.
