The son of the kindergarten headmaster has been arrested for molesting the girls in the preschool

Previously, we highlighted an incident in a Tashkent city preschool where the son of the kindergarten head allegedly molested girls. The Supreme Court of Uzbekistan has taken notice of the matter.

Reports indicate that the young man, escorted by his mother, entered the girls' room at the kindergarten, undressing and molesting several girls. Notably, the institution's camera was reportedly non-functional on that day. Parents discovered the situation later, with the headmaster's husband attempting to apologize and downplay the incident.

On January 23, 2024, the Chilonzor district court concluded the criminal case against the 2008-born suspect. The closed court session, in line with Article 19 of the Criminal Procedure Code, delivered a verdict. The young man was found guilty of violating Article 119 (Satisfaction of sexual desire through force) Part 4, and Article 85 (Deprivation of liberty) of the Criminal Code. A 6-year imprisonment was imposed, with the sentence to be served in educational colonies.

It's worth noting that an earlier incident in the Tashkent region involved a 24-year-old man sexually assaulting a 4-year-old girl.
