11th summit of the Turkic Council begins in Bishkek

2790Today, November 6, the 11th meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (TDT) began in Bishkek.
The event is being chaired by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadir Japarov.
Before joining the "Intimak Ordo," the leaders of the TDT member states — President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Turkey, and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan — as well as the observer state, Hungary, represented by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, were welcomed.
After the ceremonial handshake and a joint photo session, the heads of state proceeded to the meeting hall for the 11th session of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States.
