Based on the decree of the President regarding the "Uzbekistan - 2030" strategy, several practices aimed at ensuring road safety and improving the quality of services to the population in this area have been approved. In particular, starting from January 1, 2024, it is mandatory to fully equip pedestrian crossings with traffic lights on all newly constructed two-lane and wider highways in settlements.
The implementation of this practice is expected to reduce the number of traffic accidents and violations related to pedestrians crossing the crosswalk.
Additionally, starting from January 1, 2024, during the state registration of motor vehicles, the practice of obtaining sales contracts and other notarized transactions from the automated information system "Notary" will be introduced. It will be prohibited to request these documents from the applicants.
