Five Uzbek boxers promoted for the next round of the international tournament

Currently, the István Bochkai International Memorial Boxing Tournament is being held in Hungary.  Many representatives of Uzbekistan are fighting for the victory in the tournament.

On 8 February, 5 boxers from Uzbekistan entered the ring, and 4 of them got through to the next round.  Samandar Kholmurodov in -57 kilograms, Kamron Turgunbayev in -71 kilograms, Torabek Khabibulayev and Rahmatillo Boymatov in -80 kilograms won the fights.  – Bekzod Bekmurodov, who entered the ring in the 67-kilogram weight category, lost to Harry Garside from Austria.

Khojanazar Nortojiyev at -54 kilograms and Sanjar Tursunov at -92 kilograms could not enter the ring due to health problems.

For information, a total of 13 fighters from Uzbekistan went to the tournament in Hungary.  The competition will last until 11 February.
