At the invitation of the president of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the president of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdymukhamedov arrived in Uzbekistan on a state visit today, 14 July.

At Islam Karimov, Tashkent International Airport, the 41-year-old leader of Turkmenistan was welcomed by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Norov, and Tashkent City Khokim (governor) Jakhongir Ortikhodjayev.

After the welcoming ceremony, the Turkmen delegation visited the New Uzbekistan park, where they laid flowers at the base of the Independence Monument of the president of Turkmenistan.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov got acquainted in detail with the architectural solutions of the complex and the essence and features of its composition.
