Two-Time Boxing World Champion Bahadir Jalolov Awarded a House by the Mayor

The mayor of Surkhandarya region presented a house to Bahadir Jalolov, a two-time boxing world champion and winner of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, as captured in a video. This announcement was made by the information service of the regional government.

On June 8, a meeting was held at the Hokimy building with Bahadir Jalolov, who secured the gold medal at the World Men’s Boxing Championship held in Tashkent. During the gathering, the governor of the region, Ulugbek Kasimov, expressed his congratulations to the boxer for his remarkable victory and extended well wishes for his future success in international competitions and his professional career. Jalolov was also honored with due recognition for his achievements.

It is worth noting that Bahadir Jalolov currently holds the 14th position in the World Boxing Council (WBC) ranking.

Additionally, it should be recalled that another Uzbek representative, Ruslan Abdullayev, who emerged victorious at the World Boxing Championship in Tashkent, was gifted a Malibu car. Reports suggest that the car was presented by a businessman’s neighbor in the Qibray district
