Bahadir Jalolov won a gold medal

Today, on the 13th of May, the World Boxing Championship took place, showcasing outstanding performances from talented athletes.  Bahadir Jalolov representing Uzbekistan in the super heavyweight category, made his country proud by defeating his Cuban opponent,  Alejandro Arzola.  Arzola, who was knocked down in the first round, chose not to continue the fight.

Jalolov's remarkable victory now grants him the title of a two-time world champion.  At just 29 years old, Jalolov has already established an impressive track record. He showcased his unparalleled skills in the 2019 World Cup, where he remained undefeated.  Furthermore, he claimed a gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and has been crowned the trhee-time Asian champion.  Additionally, Jalolov has participated in 12 professional boxing matches, emerging victorious in all of them, often securing early knockouts.

Let's not forget the achievements of Asadkoja Moydinkhojayev and Hasanboy Dostmatov from Uzbekistan, who also showcased their talent earlier in the ring and secured well-deserved gold medals.
