Physicians who move to work in certain districts will be given up to 200 percent raise

From 1 July 2022, doctors who go to work in the districts of Karakalpakstan will be paid up to 200% bonus per month.  This is stated in the decree of the president of Uzbekistan, adopted yesterday, 17 May,  «On measures to strengthen the material support and incentives for medical staff».

According to the decree, from 1 July 2022 the salaries for the first three years of those doctors who work, going from the regions and the city of Tashkent, as well as from abroad, to the districts of Takhtakopir, Chimbay, Karaozak, Bozatov, Shumanay and Kungrad districts of the Republic of Karakalpakstan will be increased by an additional monthly supplement of 100 percent during the year and 200 percent bonus in the Muynak district will be paid from the state budget.

In order to obtain the raise (bonus) specified in the paragraph, a doctor must have worked in another region for at least two years and have at least the second-degree qualification category.
