For some categories, the electricity fee is paid in the autumn-winter season

In November, electricity bills for the autumn-winter season will be covered for those requiring social protection, as announced by Anvar Gaybullayev, the first deputy chairman of the board of "Territorial Electric Networks" JSC, during a press tour on July 11.

When asked if the increased demand for electricity in areas without natural gas supply during the autumn-winter season has been considered, and if the 200 kW social norm is sufficient, the first deputy chairman of the HET board responded that discussions on this issue are ongoing.

Gaybullayev stated, "A working group has been formed to address this issue, but no definite decision has been made yet. However, we have been tasked with resolving it by the fall."

The management of HET also mentioned that assistance will be provided to socially vulnerable consumers for their electricity costs during the autumn-winter season.

The first deputy chairman of the HET board mentioned, "I don't recall the exact amount or duration, but in November, the cost of electricity consumption for the heating season will be covered for those in need of social protection.”
