5652President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahman, visited Uzbekistan to participate in the next summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization.
A group of officials, led by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, met him at the Tashkent International Airport. After that, the high-ranking guest left for his residence.
For information, today, November 9, at the ECO summit chaired by Shavkat Mirziyoyev, it is planned to consider the issues of further expansion of trade-economic, investment, transport-communication, and humanitarian cooperation and the improvement of the activities of this multilateral structure.
Let us remind you that earlier, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadir Japarov, the President of Turkey, Rajab Tayyip Erdogan, and the President of Iran, Ibrahim Raisi, arrived in Tashkent accompanied by their wives. Until now, the head of the interim government of Pakistan, Anwar ul-Haq Kakar, and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Alikhan Smailov, also came to Uzbekistan to participate in the ECO summit.
