Fire breaks out in sports school in Andijan

A fire occurred at a sports school in the Shahrikhan district of Andijan region. The regional emergency department reported the incident.
On September 7, at 09:40, the Andijan region's Fire and Rescue Brigade received a report of a fire at an auxiliary building of the sports school for children and teenagers. The building, located on Chinabad Street in the "Buvaydo" neighborhood of Shahrikhan district, is currently not in use.
Fire rescue crews arrived at the scene at 09:44 and extinguished the blaze by 09:46. The fire partially damaged equipment within the auxiliary building, which is separate from the main educational facility. No injuries were reported, and the building was not in use at the time of the fire.
The causes of the fire and the extent of the material damage are under investigation.
For context, a fire also broke out on August 30 in a warehouse of an electric kettle production workshop in the city of Kokand, Fergana region.
