Truck catches fire in Andijan

On March 19, a Zil-130 truck caught fire in the Andijan region. The incident was reported by the Traffic Safety Service of the Regional Department of Internal Affairs.
The fire occurred around 10:00 PM on the A-373 international highway near the “Navoiy” neighborhood in Asaka district. The truck, driven by 31-year-old U.Sh., was traveling along the “Tashkent-Osh Shahrikhon” route when an electrical short circuit in the vehicle’s wiring caused the fire.
The fire was extinguished by personnel from the Oltinkul District Emergency Department. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The Asaka District Emergency Department is currently conducting a pre-investigation inquiry into the incident.
Previously, a similar fire involving a cargo vehicle occurred on a highway in the Tashkent region.
