Father in Andijan gives car as an alimony payment

In the Jalakuduk district of Andijan, a father has settled his alimony obligations by offering his Damas car in place of regular payments, according to the Enforcement Bureau.
Since 2016, J.K. has been making alimony payments for one of his children, following a ruling from the Khujaabad Inter-District Civil Court.
After discussions between the parties, an agreement was reached in which the father proposed giving his Damas car as a substitute for future alimony payments until the child reaches adulthood. The claimant, Sh.Kh., accepted the offer, finalizing the arrangement.
As a result, the legal obligation was fully satisfied, and the case was closed.
This follows a similar case in Tashkent, where a father prepaid 16 years of alimony. His obligation, calculated for the period from 2024 to 2040, amounted to 818 million 895 thousand 193 soums. The debtor cleared the amount in full, along with a house, a Spark car, and an additional $2,000 in favor of the recipient.
In another notable case from the Tashkent district, a woman paid 1.7 billion soums in alimony to her ex-husband for the support of their three children.
