Cobalt driver strikes 10-year-old g1irl in Andijan

On July 8, a Cobalt car driver hit a 10-year-old girl, leading to a traffic accident in the Andijan region, as reported by the Regional Traffic Safety Department.
The accident happened at an unregulated pedestrian crossing on Uzbekistan Street in Andijan city. The driver, identified as A.Kh. and born in 1999, struck the young pedestrian, T.S., as she was crossing the street.
The girl sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital.
Authorities are currently conducting a preliminary investigation.
Previously, a similar incident occurred in Navoi, where an 8-year-old girl was fatally struck by a car. The girl, a second grader, succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Two drivers were subsequently arrested following that incident.
