Father who evaded alimony payments found hiding behind slate in Andijan (video)

In the Andijan region, a father who had been avoiding alimony payments was discovered hiding behind a slate in the unfinished part of his house. The regional Compulsory Enforcement Bureau reported the incident.  

According to an execution order issued by the Andijan Interdistrict Court for Civil Affairs, the debtor, B.D., was required to pay alimony to G.M. for the maintenance of his two children. However, despite multiple warnings from the Bureau, he failed to fulfill his obligations, allowing his alimony debt to accumulate to 26 million sums.  

Repeated attempts to locate B.D. were unsuccessful, prompting authorities to issue a search notice.  

During an operation conducted by the search department of the regional Bureau, the debtor was eventually found hiding behind a slate in the unfinished area of his yard.  

Following his discovery, the Andijan City Court sentenced him to 15 days of administrative arrest.  

It is worth recalling that a similar case occurred earlier in the Surkhandarya region, where a father who had evaded alimony payments for his minor child was detained at his brother’s wedding.
