Person attempting to sell illegally land for $46,000 was caught in Andijan

A swindler who attempted to sell land allocated for production activities in the Andijan region has been apprehended. This information was reported by the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor's Office.

It was noted that citizen Z.K. trusted citizen A.A., who, with the assistance of his acquaintances, promised to register 10 hectares of land in the youth small industrial zone under his name for $46,000. He was caught with physical evidence upon receiving a $25,000 advance.

"In connection with this situation, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 168 (fraud) and Article 211 (bribery) of the Criminal Code, and investigations are being conducted," the report states.

It is worth noting that earlier, as a result of actions conducted by employees of the DIA Rapid Search Service in the Samarkand and Khorezm regions, individuals involved in the illegal sale of land resources were also apprehended.
