Earthquake in Kyrgyzstan felt across Andijan region

2905Today, March 12, the earthquake that occurred in Kyrgyzstan was felt in three districts of Andijan region. This was reported by the Republican Center for Seismic Prognostic Monitoring of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
The earthquake struck Kyrgyzstan at 08:11 Tashkent time. The earthquake’s coordinates were 40.55 degrees north latitude and 72.76 degrees east longitude, with a magnitude of 4.0 and a depth of 10 km. The epicenter was located 308 km southeast of Tashkent.
The intensity of the earthquake in the Republic of Uzbekistan was reported as follows:
- 2-3 points in Khojaabad district, 13 km from the epicenter
- 2 points in Jalakuduk district, 23 km from the epicenter
- 2 points in Bulakbashi district, 24 km from the epicenter
Additionally, it should be noted that earlier today, at 06:16, a 3.6 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Tashkent district of the Tashkent region. This tremor was felt throughout the Tashkent region and in the city of Tashkent.
