Drug dealers were caught in Andijan and Fergana

Drug dealers were apprehended in Andijan and Fergana. Authorities confiscated narcotics imported from Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, as reported by UzA.

During an inspection of an apartment in the Toshloq district, belonging to an individual born in 2006, officials discovered and seized 27.573 kg of "hashish" and 3.967 kg of "opium" in accordance with procedural protocols.

It was determined that these illicit substances were smuggled from Tajikistan.

In the Kurgantepa district of the Andijan region, a person born in 1986 was arrested for collaborating with an individual from the Osh region in Kyrgyzstan. They were caught selling 1.806 kg of the synthetic drug "Mephedrone" for $80,000 to a buyer.

Further investigation led to the seizure of an additional 2.698 kg of "Mephedrone" from the residence of a resident in the Kurgantepa district. These synthetic drugs were also traced back to Kyrgyzstan.

In a separate incident, a Damas car driven by a person from Andijan district, born in 1992, was stopped and searched. Authorities discovered 2,800 units of "Regapen" and 957 vials of "Tropikamid" in the cabin. These potent drugs, belonging to a powerful substances group, were imported from Kyrgyzstan through indirect routes for distribution.

Criminal cases have been initiated against these individuals under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and investigations are ongoing.
