On August 11 of this year, during the latest round of the Uzbekistan football championship, Tashkent's "Bunyodkor" club played against "Andijan," winning with a score of 2:0. After the match, "Andijan" player Marlen Chobanov, who was watching from the VIP stand, attempted to enter the stadium and got into an argument with the security guards. This was reported by the head office of the National Guard in Tashkent.

It was revealed that Chobanov, who did not have a special permit to enter, was advised by a National Guard serviceman to use another corridor to exit the stadium. However, Chobanov disobeyed the legal instructions of the serviceman, resisted, and struck the serviceman in the face, causing bodily injury.

Currently, the prosecutor's office of Chilonzor district has initiated a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 219 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with this incident, and preliminary investigations are underway.
