6800The management of AS Roma is considering appointing Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti as the team’s new head coach. This was reported by AS Diario.
According to the source, Roma is looking to bring in the legendary former player as a coach, with Ancelotti emerging as the main candidate should Claudio Ranieri leave. However, Ancelotti has expressed his desire to remain at Real Madrid for as long as possible. Even if he departs, he has not ruled out retiring from coaching altogether.
It is worth noting that Ancelotti played for Roma from 1979 to 1987 during his football career.
Currently, Roma sits in 9th place in the Serie A standings with 31 points after 23 rounds.
