A man who had been evading alimony payments in the Tashkent region was discovered hiding in a well. This was reported by the Tashkent Regional Department of the Compulsory Enforcement Bureau.

According to the report, a resident of the Yukori Chirchik district had failed to fulfill his legal obligation to pay alimony for his child. Despite repeated notices, the man continued to evade payment.

As a result, he was sentenced to five days of administrative detention under Part 1 of Article 47 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (failure to fulfill parental obligations in raising and educating a child). When enforcement officers searched for him, they found he had hidden inside a well located in the yard of his residence.

At present, authorities are working on enforcing the alimony payment and taking appropriate legal action against the debtor.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time such incidents have occurred. In previous cases:

- In Andijan, a man was discovered behind a slate in an unfinished part of his house.
- In the Yunusabad district of Tashkent, a father who had failed to support his three children was found hiding behind a wall.
