Uzbek actor Ravshan Juraev passes away at 63

Renowned Uzbek actor and Honored Artist of Uzbekistan, Ravshan Juraev, passed away today, January 15, at the age of 63. The news was shared by actress and TV presenter Mavluda Akhmedova on her Facebook page.  

The funeral for the beloved actor will be held today at 5:00 p.m. in the Sergeli dacha area of Tashkent.  

Ravshan Juraev earned fame for his performances in iconic films such as "Bobur", "Chaqaloq", "Qalb Kuchalari", "Shaytanat - Jinlar Saltanati", "Buyuk Sharaf", "Kelin va Kuyov", and many others. His contributions to Uzbek cinema have left an indelible mark on the industry and audiences alike.  

This comes shortly after the passing of Bakhtiyor Sultanov, a member of the "Tashkent" group known for his hit song "Bedana", who died at the age of 60 on January 4.
