The Embassy of Uzbekistan in the United States has advised its citizens living in Florida to take precautionary measures in light of Hurricane Milton. This information was reported by the "Dunyo" news agency.

A state of emergency has been declared in 51 cities across Florida, prompting the embassy to urge Uzbek citizens to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions.

The Embassy of Uzbekistan also recommends that citizens contact the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for additional support:

It is noteworthy that earlier, the Embassy of Kazakhstan in the U.S. also advised the evacuation of its citizens from Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina due to Hurricane Milton.
