Social networks have reported that the terrorist group, ISIS, had launched a missile strike from Afghanistan against Uzbekistan’s defense facilities in the city of Termez.

Sherzod Asadov, deputy chairman of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan-press secretary of the president’s office, said in a statement that the reports were false.
«Reports of some Telegram channels that Uzbek military personnel near the city of Termez were subjected to rocket fire from Afghanistan, do not correspond to reality. »
According to the reports of the Ministry of Defense and the Border Guard of Uzbekistan, there is no escalation on the Uzbek-Afghan border, and the situation is stable.
«We ask you not to succumb to provocations», – Asadov wrote.
