Is “Activist” to blame?  The lawyer objected

As you know, the blogger Hojiakbar Nosirov (“Activist”), known for his critical videos about the quality of products and their suitability, was imprisoned for 15 days.

Lawyer Abdumalik Abdullayev objected to the court’s decision and stated that in the administrative decision that was issued against the blogger, his status was recognized as an “offender”.

He said that the court recognized Khojiakbar Nasirov as an “offender” before deciding to find him guilty of an administrative offense.

“It seems that the court had their minds made up before the decision,” said the lawyer.

Abdullayev also stated that the legal status of Nasirov in the process of administrative proceedings should be called “a person subject to administrative responsibility” according to Article 294 of the current Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It should be recalled that Hojiakbar Nosirov was imprisoned for 15 days on 8 April of this year.  Article 184-3 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (preparation, storage or distribution of materials promoting national, racial, ethnic or religious hatred) and Article 194 (failure to comply with the legal requirements of an employee of internal affairs) of the Code of Administrative Responsibility, the administrative case for part 1 was considered.  He said that all the various yogurt products sold in the shops are haram and published a video about not eating them.

Later, the Fatwa Center of the Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan announced that it is permissible to consume products containing carmine E120, which Nosirov said is haram.
