Nodirbek Abdusattorov, the Uzbek grandmaster, clinched the 4th spot in the recently updated International Chess Federation (FIDE) ranking, as officially announced on FIDE's website.

As of April, Abdusattorov, aged 19, amassed a total of 2765 rating points, placing him below Magnus Carlsen (2830), Fabiano Caruana (2803), and Hikaru Nakamura (2789).

Furthermore, Abdusattorov maintained his position as the top-ranked junior player in the FIDE world ranking, a feat he has held since the previous month.

It's worth recalling that in early March, Abdusattorov emerged victorious in the "Prague Masters 2024" tournament held in Prague, Czech Republic. His exceptional performance in the tournament was acknowledged during a speech by the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on March 21 at the "Humo Arena" complex.
