"I had been anticipating this championship for a long time, and I am grateful for the support I received.  My coaches have worked tirelessly with me, especially my coach Davron, who provided crucial psychological guidance.  My fights felt effortless.  Monetary gain is inconsequential; it is the pride of representing Uzbekistan that matters.  I am grateful to have shone in front of everyone," expressed Halokov.

When asked about how he intends to handle the potential pitfalls of fame, Halokov told QALAMPIR.UZ that he remains steadfast in preserving his authenticity and humanity amidst success.

"I will remain unchanged.  Above all, we must remember our shared humanity.  Despite being a world champion, I am just an ordinary person like everyone else," affirmed Abdumalik.

Born in 2000 in the Bukhara region, Abdumalik Halokov has amassed an impressive track record, securing victories in both world and Olympic competitions among young athletes.  In 2022, he clinched a gold medal at the Asian Championship held in Amman, further solidifying his standing as one of Uzbekistan's most promising boxing talents.
