7982On October 29, an award ceremony celebrating the top talents in Asian football was held in Seoul, South Korea.
Abbosbek Fayzullaev, a member of the Uzbekistan national team and player for Russian club CSKA, was honored as the Best Young Player of the Year on the continent, receiving a special prize. He was selected over fellow nominees Gaku Nawata from Japan and Bae Jun-ho from South Korea.
Faizullayev, at 21, is currently the most valuable player in Uzbekistan. He has represented his national team in 21 matches, scoring four goals and providing one assist. According to Transfermarket, his market value is estimated at 6 million euros.
