Abbosbek Fayzullayev becomes most valuable player at Başakşehir

It was recently reported that Uzbek footballer Abbosbek Fayzullayev has joined İstanbul Başakşehir, a club representing the Turkish city of Istanbul. With this transfer, he has become the most valuable player in his new team, according to the football statistics portal "Transfermarkt".
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder is currently valued at 8 million euros. He is followed by fellow Uzbek international Eldor Shomurodov, who also recently joined Başakşehir from the Italian club AS Roma. *Transfermarkt* has set Shomurodov’s market value at 5 million euros.
Completing the club’s top three most valuable players is 26-year-old defender Jerome Opoku, who holds both Ghanaian and British citizenship. His market value is also listed at 5 million euros.
For reference, the total market value of the Başakşehir squad stands at 63 million euros. The team includes six national team players and 14 foreign players (legionnaires). The average age of the squad is 25.4. Last season, Başakşehir finished fifth in the Turkish Süper Lig.
