In the first welterweight category (55.3 kg) of professional boxing, the owner of the WBA and IBF belts, Murodjon Ahmadaliyev from Uzbekistan, will fight against the Filipino boxer Marlon Tapales, the mandatory contender in the IBF direction. “Boxer TV” reported about it.
It is noted that the fight between Ahmadaliyev and Tapales will take place on 8 April in San Antonio, Texas, USA. The fight is expected to be officially announced next week.
28-year-old Murodjon Ahmadaliyev had a total of 10 fights in professional boxing and won all of them. 30-year-old Tapales entered the ring 37 times in professional boxing, recorded 34 victories and tasted defeat in 3 fights.
