A person who kept synthetic drugs worth 1 billion soums was arrested in the Tashkent region. Bobur Tolaganov, press secretary of the Regional Internal Affairs Directorate, reported this.
On July 15 of this year, during a swift operation conducted by the investigative service of the Tashkent region MDIA, in cooperation with the Tashkent district DIA and the regional division of the Security Service of the State, A.T., born in 2002, was arrested. It was discovered that he was keeping the synthetic drug "mephedrone" weighing 1 kg 433 g in his Tracker vehicle for the purpose of sale. The drugs were seized as evidence.
It was found that the 22-year-old planned to cut this synthetic substance into pieces and sell it through a contactless address.
In connection with the situation, a criminal case was initiated under part 5 of Article 273 of the Criminal Code (illegal preparation, acquisition, storage, and other actions for the purpose of transferring narcotic drugs, their analogs, or psychotropic substances, as well as their illegal transfer).
