An employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations who tried to sell illegal land for a billion soms was caught

Officials of the State Security Service discovered cases related to the illegal sale of land in Navoi, Andijan and Samarkand.  This was reported by the Press Service of the State Security Service.

It is noted that an employee of the Nurota district emergency department of the Navoi region colluded with the head of a farm specializing in farming.  They planned to sell 80 hectares of this farm to a buyer for 1 billion soms.  For this, he was caught while receiving 700 million soms in advance.

Also, the head of a construction company in Andijan city was caught when he claimed to own 14 hectares of land in the reserve of the city administration and received 40,000 US dollars in exchange for its formalization.

In addition, a citizen living in Samarkand district wanted to register the 35 hectares of land given to him for the establishment of a farm by the relevant decision of the district governor in the name of the buyer.  In return, he demanded 45,000 US dollars and was caught when he received 25,000 US dollars in advance.

“Criminal cases have been initiated against these persons under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and investigative efforts are being carried out,” the State Security Service said.
