Starting June 1 of the current year, social, psychological, and legal assistance will be extended to women who have experienced or are vulnerable to harassment and violence, even in the absence of a protection order. This measure, outlined in the Presidential Decision on "Enhancing Social Support for Victims of Harassment and Violence," aims to improve support services.

The decision mandates the establishment of a comprehensive social support network for victims of oppression and violence, operating on a hierarchical basis from family to neighborhood, district, and region.

Effective June 1, 2024:

- A streamlined process for providing social, psychological, and legal support, independent of a protection order, will be implemented for women affected by or at risk of harassment and violence.
- Reports of harassment and violence against women will be logged via calls to the "102" helpline of law enforcement agencies.

Within 24 hours of identifying a situation of harassment or violence, the following steps will be taken:

- An interview with the perpetrator will be conducted in the presence of a women's advocate and a prevention officer from the local community.
- A protection order will be issued by the prevention officer.
- Women and their dependent children who have endured harassment and violence will be accommodated in emergency facilities at central district hospitals.
- Records of formalized protection orders and details of affected individuals will be transmitted to "Inson" centers via the "Uniform National Social Protection" system.
