Albert Einstein’s portrait and his various formulas, painted on the wall in the Chilanzar district of Tashkent by an artist nicknamed Inkuzar, who is known for his street graffiti, was painted over with white lime. It was reported by the artist on his social network page.

The video, published by the artist, shows him drawing graffiti and then the process of painting over the walls with lime, by workers. The video also commented to «Thank the governor of Chilanzar ».

It is also known that the drawing was covered in white paint by order of the district governor of Chilanzar.

It should be noted that this is not the first time that the Inkuzart’s work has been demolished. Earlier, the artist’s graffiti which was devoted to the monopoly of UzAutoMotors (A car-producing company) was removed, and then the painting which portrayed the rise of gas prices «killing» ordinary Uzbeks was removed.

For reference, on 18 February, President Shavkat Mirziyoev praised the mural «Friendship» in Yangihayat district, saying: «I appreciate such things, why don’t you increase them in the city? » Officials at the time added that the number of such artworks was increasing.

Unfortunately, the President doesn’t know that such art works are being slaughtered on creation. This is because often governors don't care about this kind of “inferior artwork". They jump straight to demolishing and removing it.
