“Bunyodkor” and “Energetik-BGU” earnings revealed after Khusanov's transfer

"Bunyodkor" is set to receive €2 million, while "Energetik-BGU" will earn €454,000 from the transfer of 20-year-old Uzbek defender Abdukodir Khusanov to "Manchester City". This information was revealed by the player's agent, Gayrat Khasbiullin, in an interview with the publication "Championat".

"Energetik-BGU" and "Bunyodkor" are entitled to additional payments as compensation for training the player, based on the terms of his transfer to "Manchester City". Five percent of the total transfer fee is allocated in proportion to the time Khusanov spent in the academies of both clubs. Khasbiullin highlighted that the approximate €500,000 share for "Energetik-BGU" is a significant amount for the club. He further noted that if "Bunyodkor" had directly sold Khusanov earlier, earning such a sum would have been challenging.

For context, Khusanov joined "Manchester City" in a deal valued at €50 million, including bonuses. The young defender signed a contract on a 4.5+1-year basis, demonstrating "Manchester City"'s long-term investment in his potential.
