9558On March 18, transfer values of football players in England were updated, and the market price of "Manchester City"'s Uzbek defender Abdukodir Khusanov saw a sharp increase. His transfer value rose by 23 million euros, reaching 35 million euros.
Khusanov’s price surge also had a significant impact on the total valuation of the Uzbekistan national team. As a result, the "White Wolves" are now the third most valuable national team in Asia.
Currently, Uzbekistan’s squad is valued at 70 million euros, surpassing Iran, Saudi Arabia, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Iraq, and Jordan by a significant margin.
Japan remains Asia’s most valuable team, with a total squad value of 307 million euros, followed by South Korea in second place with a 121 million euro valuation.
Notably, following his increased market value, Khusanov has become the fourth most expensive footballer in Asia. Only Brighton’s Kaoru Mitoma, Bayern Munich’s Kim Min-Jae, and Real Sociedad’s Takefusa Kubo have higher transfer values than Khusanov.
