It became known when the trial of detained Abduqadir Mominov will take place

The criminal case against the blogger Abduqadir Mominov, who was arrested in February of this year, will be heard at the Mirabad district court on July 25 this year at 15:00.  Aziz Obidov, press secretary of the Supreme Court, informed about this.

According to reports, Abduqadir Mominov was convicted of the Criminal Code, Article 141-1 (violation of privacy), part 2, clauses “a”, “b”, Article 165 (extortion), part 3, clause “a”, Article 168 (fraud  ) part 3, clauses “b”, “v”, part 4, clause “a”, part 1 of article 189 (violation of trade or service rules) and part 3 of article 28,211 (participation in bribery) “  is accused of having committed the crimes referred to in paragraph a.

This criminal case will be considered under the chairmanship of S. Sadikov, the chairman of the Mirabad district court for criminal cases.

According to the confirmed indictment, there are 14 victims of this criminal case, and it was determined that they suffered material damage in the amount of 903 million 421 thousand 567.5 soums as a result of the crime.

We remind you that in February of this year, the citizen E.Z.  submitted a petition and asked to take legal measures against the actions of a person named Abduqodir Mominov, who is engaged in blogging.

After that, a criminal case was initiated against Mominov under Article 168 (Fraud), Article 165 (Extortion) of the Criminal Code, and he was detained in procedural order.  Later, social networks reported that blogger Abduqadir Mominov was tortured to death during the investigation.

However, Hayat Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the Prosecutor General, informed KALAMPIR.UZ that the reports that Mominov died during the investigation were not true.

Yesterday, on July 18, the High Court confirmed that the hearing of the “Kompromat case” in the Shaikhontohur district court of Tashkent city for criminal cases will be closed, and that the mass media will not participate in it.  The request was given as a reason.
