11126In the city of Paris, the final boxing matches of the Olympic Games, which are nearing their conclusion, have begun.
Hasanboy Dusmatov, the champion of the Rio 2016 Olympics, competed in the decisive bout in the 51 kg weight category against the home boxer Bennama Bilal for the gold medal. Dusmatov emerged victorious, becoming a two-time Olympic champion.
It should be noted that Dusmatov also faced Bilal in the finals of the World Championship held in Tashkent last year, where he knocked out his opponent in the first round.
Additionally, four other Uzbek boxers have the opportunity to become Olympic champions. Alongside Dusmatov, Bahodir Jalolov, Lazizbek Mullojonov, Abdumalik Khalokov, and Asadkhuja Muydinkhujaev have reached the finals of the Paris Olympics.
