Green Card lottery results to be released tomorrow

The long-awaited results of the U.S. Green Card lottery — a dream for many aspiring immigrants — will be announced tomorrow, May 3.

At exactly 21:00 Tashkent time, the results of the U.S. Diversity Visa Program (DV-2026), which allows citizens of eligible countries to immigrate to the United States, will be made available on the official website: [dvprogram.state.gov](https://dvprogram.state.gov). Applications for this cycle were accepted between October 2 and November 7, 2024.

The Green Card Lottery, formally known as the Diversity Visa (DV) Program, is a U.S. government initiative that provides thousands of randomly selected individuals from around the world with a chance to live and work permanently in the United States. The program is governed by the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), specifically Section 203(s), which allocates immigrant visas to people from countries with historically low rates of immigration to the U.S.
