Uzbekistan has launched the “Hajj and Umrah Unified Portal,” which allows citizens to register online for the pilgrimage. This was reported by the Committee on Religious Affairs.
According to the announcement, applicants can join the electronic queue in two ways: through the Unified Interactive Public Services Portal at www.my.gov.uz or via haj-umra.gov.uz.
The main goal of launching the portal is to create convenience for pilgrims, ensure transparency, eliminate human interference in the queue formation process, and fully digitize the procedures related to submitting applications, collecting, and processing information.
“The system now allows citizens to register for the pilgrimage remotely without leaving home, putting an end to bureaucratic procedures such as visiting institutions, collecting documents, and paperwork,” the statement reads.
It is worth noting that earlier, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced that starting from the 2026 Hajj season, pilgrims will be required to present a medical fitness certificate obtained through the “Nusuk” platform to be eligible for a Hajj visa. This measure aims to ensure the health and safety of all pilgrims.
