On July 29, the heavyweight boxers competed at the Paris Olympics. Qamshibek Konkabayev of Kazakhstan, expected to vie for medals in the +92 kg category, exited the competition prematurely.
In his initial bout, Konkabayev was defeated by 25-year-old Spaniard Ayyub Gadfa. The judges awarded the victory to Gadfa with a score of 3:2.
It is noteworthy that the 32-year-old Konkabayev was predicted to face Bahodir Jalolov in the Olympic final.
It should be noted that Bahodir Jalolov faced a Norwegian boxer in the first round of the Paris Olympics and emerged victorious.
