The Agency for External Labor Migration has issued a warning to Uzbek citizens residing in Japan, cautioning them against engaging in illegal activities or accepting suspicious offers that may involve legal risks.

Noting that Japan is a law-abiding and orderly country, the agency advised citizens to remain vigilant and reject the following types of proposals:

- “We will exempt your salary from taxes” – this is illegal.
- “Let’s work secretly” – this could lead to the violation of your work visa conditions.
- “Let’s gamble” – such activities are often illegal and punishable.
- “Work for another organization, I will make you a resident card” – do not use or attempt to obtain fake ID cards.
- “Use someone else’s bank card or sell yours” – the sale or misuse of bank cards can implicate you in serious crimes.

The agency urged citizens to verify the legitimacy of all documents and visas before engaging in any employment or business activities. It also recommended contacting local authorities or the Uzbek embassy in Japan if they receive suspicious offers. Additional guidance is available on the official website of the Immigration Services Agency of Japan.

It is worth noting that similar warnings have recently been issued for Uzbeks traveling to Russia. Starting from June 30 of this year, citizens entering Russia without a visa must register in advance through the Gosuslugi RuID mobile application and obtain a QR code.
