Minister awards student who saved a young child

Earlier, it was reported that a university student in the Yangi Hayot district of Tashkent had rescued an unattended child. The student has now been honored by the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Qung‘irotboy Sharipov. The ministry’s press service reported the news.

According to the ministry, on 18 October, Minister Qung‘irotboy Sharipov presented Muhriddin Ilashov with a letter of appreciation and a commemorative gift in recognition of his bravery and selflessness.

The minister emphasized that the young hero’s act serves as an example not only for his own institute but for all youth across the country. He noted the importance of further strengthening the values of humanity, patriotism, and courage among young people.

It is worth noting that earlier, rescuers in the Bakhmal district of Jizzakh region saved the life of a child who had fallen into a toilet pit.
