Uzbekistan to play CAFA Nations Cup matches at new stadium

The “CAFA Nations Cup-2025” will be held in Tashkent from August 30 to September 8 this year. Matches involving the Uzbekistan national team will take place at the new stadium located in the Olympic village, the Uzbekistan Football Association reported.
It was noted that the matches will start at 19:30. Other group-stage games will take place at the “JAR” stadium. The final match on September 8 will be hosted at the “Olympia” stadium.
As the host of the tournament, Uzbekistan is placed in Group A. The opponents are the Kyrgyz Republic, Turkmenistan, and Oman. The Uzbekistan national team will begin its campaign in the competition on August 30 with a match against Oman.
It is worth noting that earlier, the head coach of the Uzbekistan national team, Timur Kapadze, announced an extended squad for the tournament training camp.
