President Kerritt Brown of the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF), along with CEO Densin White and Asian director Wissam Abi Nader, officially announced the event.
Yesterday, a press conference occurred in Tashkent, featuring leaders from the International Federation of Mixed Martial Arts.
Shakhrillo Mahmudov, Deputy Minister of Sports in Uzbekistan, and Sherzod Toshmatov, First Deputy Chairman of the Uzbekistan Mixed Martial Arts Association, were also present at the conference.
During the conference, it was disclosed that the Amateur World Championship in mixed martial arts is set to be hosted in Tashkent in October of this year.
