As of March, Uzbekistan's national football team has risen to 57th place in the FIFA rankings, according to the official FIFA website.
The Uzbek team moved up one spot from the February rankings, now holding 57th place with 1437.02 points.
Argentina leads the FIFA rankings with 1867.16 points, followed by Spain in second place with 1854.64 points. France dropped one position to third, while England is in fourth and Brazil in fifth.
Among Asian teams, Japan holds the highest position, ranked 15th in the March update. Iran follows in 18th, South Korea in 23rd, Australia in 26th, and Qatar is ranked 55th.
For context, the Uzbekistan national team defeated Kyrgyzstan and drew with Iran in March during the third qualifying round for the 2026 World Cup in the Asian region.
