Judokas of Uzbekistan came in the top three for the Grand Prix in Portugal

Grand Prix judo competitions hosted by the Portuguese city of Almada have ended. It is noteworthy that the Uzbek team won 3rd place in the tournament.

Muhriddin Tilovov and Obidkhan Nomanov from Uzbekistan won the championship in their weight categories at the competition, which was attended by more than 500 athletes from 81 countries. With 2 gold medals in total, the Uzbek team was behind only South Korea and the host country - Portugal.

The representatives of Uzbekistan surpassed the athletes of such famous countries as Kazakhstan and Japan among the Asian teams.

Thanks to the result achieved in the Almada tournament, where important rating points for the Paris Olympics were played, Uzbek judokas got 700 rating points.
