Aziz Yuldoshevich Magrupov has been appointed as the Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Foreign Investments. The announcement was made by Presidential Spokesperson Sherzod Asadov.
In connection with his new role, Magrupov has been relieved of his duties as Advisor to the President on Foreign Investments.
For reference, Aziz Magrupov was appointed Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration in 2018. On August 25, 2023, the structure of the Presidential Administration was updated, and Magrupov was appointed Assistant to the President. Later, on June 23 of this year, a presidential decree introduced further structural changes, under which Magrupov transitioned to the position of Advisor to the President on Foreign Investments.
It is worth noting that earlier, a presidential decree appointed several advisors and deputies to Saida Mirziyoyeva, the Head of the Presidential Administration.
